In February of 2023 Alex had lunch one day with his co-worker Lucas. While catching up on life, Alex asked Lucas if he or his wife Dana knew of any single girls. Lucas said he would think about it and ask Dana. That same weekend Dana (a client at Inspire East Cobb--the fitness studio where I work) brought Lucas to the Valentines "Boys at the Barre" class. Dana and Lucas hung out after class and later that night Dana texted me about Alex. She asked if Lucas could give him my number, and trusting Dana and her always wise words, I said sure! The next week, Lucas hand delivered my number to Alex at the office, and after almost a week of building up the courage to reach out, Alex texted me! We went on our first date to "Two Birds" in the Marietta Square. We immediately hit it off. After a few dates, Alex got to meet Callie and then realized we were a packaged duo! A month after we met, Alex and his family went to Malaysia for 3 weeks to visit his mom's family. Even with a 12 hour time difference, Alex texted me every day! Callie and I were so excited for him to come home! After a few more dates and officially asking me to be his girlfriend, Alex offered to change the brakes on my car. While he was in the garage working I was cooking us dinner and somehow managed to set the smoke alarm off! It was in that moment that Alex knew I was the one haha!

We have enjoyed every moment of the last two years together between the lake and the farm, SSI, and sweet time at home! We are SO excited to become Mr. and Mrs. Woods and to spend the rest of our lives together!! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you at the farm soon!
